A Lifetime in the Game, Spent in Austin
My relationship with golf started young, coming up through The First Tee in Austin, Texas, where I worked my way from Par level all the way to Ace. That foundation shaped not just my game, but how I think about the sport — the values, the patience, the respect for the process.
I played high school golf and qualified for state all four years, then took my game to college at St. Edward's University. Later, while working on my graduate degree, I picked it back up again at Concordia, playing D3 golf and staying connected to the competitive side of the sport even while balancing school.
After graduating, I earned my Class A PGA certification, which opened the door to doing what I love in a more structured way. Today, I'm playing professionally while continuing to work on my own game daily — because staying a student of golf is part of what makes me a better teacher of it. Between my playing background, coaching certification, and years of experience across every stage of the game, my goal is simple: to help others improve their games and find the same lasting connection to golf that I have.

The Pathway to PGA Class A
PGA Class A membership is earned, not granted. It takes years of coursework, tested competency, and documented work under a PGA professional. Here is the road I took to get there.
PGA Associate Registration
CompleteRegistered into the PGA Professional Golf Management program while working in an eligible golf position.
PGM Level 1
CompleteFoundational coursework and testing — teaching, rules, golf operations, and the player-development fundamentals behind every lesson I give.
PGM Level 2
CompleteAdvanced instruction, club fitting, and business planning, applied through work-experience portfolios at my facility.
PGM Level 3 & Class A
CompleteFinal coursework, the required work-experience hours, and election to PGA Class A membership.
Everything that training covered goes straight back into the lesson tee.

I place a strong emphasis on the fundamentals — proper grip, stance, alignment, and posture. Most of what looks like a swing problem traces back to one of these four.
Taught to How You Learn
Some players need a feel, some need a number, some need to see it. I find out how you take in information before changing anything, so the work holds up after you leave the range.

Every lesson is $100 for a full hour, for both adults and youth players under 15. There are no packages to buy up front and no long-term commitment required.

All lessons are held at The Golf Driving Range Round Rock, 3533 Greenlawn Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78664 — just north of downtown Austin, minutes from The Domain and Dell's headquarters. The facility has a full-length range, a short range, and separate putting and chipping greens, all under lights.
Not at all. I work with players at every stage, from someone holding a club for the first time to competitive professionals. We start wherever your game actually is and build from there.
Yes. Youth lessons for players under 15 are taught to a younger golfer's pace and attention span, with a heavy emphasis on grip, stance, alignment, and posture — the fundamentals that make everything afterward easier.
Comfortable clothes you can swing in and, if you have them, your own clubs. Clubs are available upon request — just mention it when you book and a set will be ready for you.
I am a PGA of America member and hold PGA Class A certification, which required completing all three levels of the PGA Professional Golf Management program along with testing and documented work experience under a PGA professional.
Before teaching, I played four seasons of collegiate golf on scholarship at St. Edward's University and qualified for the 2019 United States Amateur Championship at Pinehurst No. 2. I hold an MBA from Concordia University Texas and turned professional in 2023, competing in more than a dozen events including qualifying for the Colorado State Open.
That combination matters on the lesson tee: I have been through the swing changes, the tournament pressure, and the grind of competing, and I teach from that experience rather than from theory alone.
